Newman International Academy of Arlington (NIAA) emphasizes STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Athletics, and Mathematics). As the saying goes, “all work and no play makes Jack a dull body.” Newman International Academy understands the importance of athletics in the development of a student. When students participate in sporting activities like volleyball, cheerleading, basketball, track and road, and soccer, they become better at teamwork and develop the virtues of discipline, hard work, and commitment. NIAA is one of the high schools in Arlington that provides education to hundreds of outstanding students. Students in eighth grade through twelfth-grade call NIAA home. NIAA shares a distinguished culture founded on four principle aspects of consistent discipline, excellent academics, parent partnership, and character training. The enrichment programs include technology, foreign language, music, art, and physical education. Our high school students get prepared for the military, college, and future careers.
